The following is the Agreement between PrivaBid™ and everyone who utilizes the PrivaBid.com website. By participating in PrivaBid services you indicate your acceptance of this Agreement and your consent to be bound by it. Our terms for participation in our services is as follows:
Description of Services
PrivaBid operates as a privacy certification authority for eBay® auctions. PrivaBid helps prevent online consumer data mishandling by requiring members to uphold the strictest privacy policy standards. PrivaBid partners are awarded the privacy seal to increase bidder trust and loyalty.
Account Qualification
PrivaBid membership is open to registered eBay® selers in good standing who agree to abide by the PrivaBid privacy standards.
Membership Payments
Your first annual membership fee is due in advance. The current cost of membership is $49.95 per year. Payments are processed by PayPal.com. You agree to abide by PayPal's own User Agreement.
Member Data
Members are required to maintain accurate business data at all times including full legal business name, authorized contact person, mailing address, telephone number, and a valid email address. Your data may be subject to verification by PrivaBid staff at any time.
Notice to Third-Parties
WHILE PRIVABID WORKS DILIGENTLY TO ENFORCE STRICT PRIVACY STANDARDS, PRIVABID CANNOT GUARANTEE THE ACTIONS OF ANY MEMBER. Should you have a formal complaint regarding a PrivaBid account holder (i.e. spam, data compromise, etc.) please submit a claim.
Limitation of Libility
Each user agrees to indemnify and hold us harmless for any losses resulting from any use or attempted use of our services in violation of this Agreement. Our services are only available for lawful purposes. Applicable state or federal laws and regulations may limit our services.
No Warranties
You agree that your use of our services is at your sole risk. Our services are provided on a strictly "as is" basis. We do not provide any warranties.
Our Rights
We may suspend or terminate your use of our services at any time, without notice for any reason, in our sole discretion. We reserve the right to change this Agreement at any time.
